Secondary Cover Teacher | Qualified Lead | Local Secondary Schools. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Flexible (Term Time Only). Salary: £140 - £233 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you a qualified teacher who loves the classroom but wants to escape the relentless cycle of planning and marking? Join our secondary network as a Cover Teacher and provide high-quality, professional leadership across all departments.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-planned work across various subjects
  • Explain concepts, answer questions, keep students on track
  • Establish instant authority and maintain a calm, respectful, productive environment
  • Use QTS skills to differentiate tasks on the fly, support students with SEND and stretch high-attainers
  • Provide school with high-quality feedback on student progress and classroom dynamics
