ACG School Jakarta is a private, independent, co-educational Kindergarten to Year 13 day school located in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that support students in developing strong in Art
  • Fostering an environment that cultivates confidence, critical thinking, and a passion for language
  • Serving as an Advisory (homeroom) teacher and supporting the pastoral and academic needs of students
  • Leading or assisting with Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs)
  • Participating in field trips, excursions, and the Residential Learning Programme
  • Engaging in department meetings, professional learning sessions, and collaborative planning
  • Supporting Open Days, community events, marketing activities, and parent information sessions
  • Ensuring alignment with Cambridge and IB standards, including assessment and moderation requirements
  • Promoting the school’s mission, vision, and values through daily practice and professional conduct

Requirements:

  • A relevant university degree and a recognised teaching qualification (required)
  • Experience teaching Art
  • A strong understanding of Art pedagogy
  • Experience differentiating for students of varied proficiency levels
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to helping students
  • Strong organisational skills and experience using data for learning progress and planning
  • An ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment
  • Full teacher registration (or eligibility for registration)
  • A commitment to holistic education, student wellbeing, and international-mindedness
