Job Description

Join the Ericsson Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) team and be part of a future where cloud technology transcends physical boundaries, connecting and enhancing human experiences. Based in Montreal, you will contribute to the cutting-edge evolution of 5G core network products as a member of our core network engineering team. As the industry transitions to 5G, customers demand innovative solutions that are compact, user-friendly, and cost-effective. This has driven the development of our Ultra Compact Core (UCC) product — an offering initially targeted at the Defense segment for Mission Critical Networks. We are looking for a SecDevOps Developer to build, integrate, secure, validate, and release key solution deliverables, collaborating with a high-performing development team across all areas of the development lifecycle — study, design, integration, verification, security, and release.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the Product Life Cycle, including release and delivery
  • Develop a Branching Strategy in collaboration with Software Configuration Managers
  • Coordinate Third-Party Products (3PP) and handle features, licenses, and license keys
  • Define release scope with the Operational Product Owner and System Domain Leads
  • Support team members in building knowledge around Configuration Management, 3PP handling, and trade awareness
  • Code, deploy, test, validate, and deliver technical assets based on Core3 and System Management/Sponsor requirements
  • Create and update Release Notes, Deployment Guides, Installation Instructions, Operational Guides, and One-Pagers
  • Collaborate with Development, Integration and Verification, Release, and Security teams to develop and deliver technical assets
  • Update delivery pages with release information for Sprint-to-Sprint deliverables in CI/CD environments
  • Create new releases and develop automation pipelines aligned with the Testing Strategy and Framework
  • Develop and adapt microservices to meet program delivery needs
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines and operations, including integration with various infrastructure providers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in software development and SecDevOps
  • Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s, K3s), cloud-native technologies, HELM, various CaaS platforms and their management, cloud orchestration, and FluxCD
  • Troubleshooting skills for distributed cloud-native applications using kubectl, k8s, and ELK stack metrics
  • Proficiency in Bash, Go, and Python programming
  • A solid understanding of SecDevOps principles and GitOps automation
  • Working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and advanced proficiency in Jira
  • Experience with WAF and DDoS protection offerings, such as Cloudflare
  • SAFe/Agile certification or equivalent is considered an asset
