Job Description:

This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to lead critical financial reporting activities and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards. The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage complex reporting tasks while providing strategic guidance.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and oversee the submission of annual and quarterly SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-Q reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and company policies
Manage the development of earnings and press release disclosures, aligning them with regulatory and organizational standards
Supervise Internal Audit and Compliance staff, providing direction on internal control assessments and compliance documentation
Conduct research on technical accounting issues and establish company accounting policies to address emerging challenges
Analyze contracts to identify accounting implications and ensure proper treatment in financial statements
Handle accounting processes related to gift cards, rewards programs, incentive compensation, accruals, equity, and other specialized areas
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and address inquiries effectively
Utilize tools such as Workiva and XBRL for accurate tagging and reporting
Monitor and manage financial reporting systems, including Excel and Dynamics 365
Provide strategic insights and recommendations on accounting practices to support business decisions

Requirements:

Proven experience in SEC reporting, including preparation of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and XBRL tagging processes
Proficiency in financial reporting tools such as Workiva and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with Dynamics 355 or similar financial systems
Ability to conduct technical accounting research and implement policies
Skilled in supervising and guiding compliance and audit teams
Experience in managing specialized accounting areas, such as gift cards and rewards programs
Excellent analytical and communication skills to address complex financial matters
