Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SEC Reporting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Katy, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering accurate financial disclosures. This position requires expertise in accounting processes, auditing, and documentation to support critical reporting functions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes
  • Utilize tools such as BlackLine and CyberSource to streamline accounting and reconciliation processes
  • Conduct audits and implement measures to maintain compliance with applicable standards
  • Support ERP and FDM solutions to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain proper documentation for disclosures and regulatory submissions
  • Monitor compliance with internal and external policies related to financial reporting
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve accounting functions and reporting procedures
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies and ensuring consistency in financial data
  • Stay updated on changes in SEC regulations and adapt reporting practices accordingly

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SEC reporting and compliance processes
  • Proficiency with tools such as BlackLine, CyberSource, and ERP solutions
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards
  • Familiarity with FDM systems and financial disclosures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams
  • Ability to manage documentation and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
