Mowi Ireland is offering an excellent opportunity to the right candidate to join our Company as a Seawater operative at our Salmon farm at our Deenish site situated at Deenish Island off the Darrynane coast south Kerry. The successful candidate will play a key role in Deenish site and will report to the site Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Feeding Stock
  • Grading, Transfers, Weighing
  • Harvesting
  • Net changes
  • Record keeping
  • Maintenance of nets and cages
  • Boat Handling
  • Environmental Monitoring

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Marine environment
  • Good communication skills (English)
  • Boat handling experience an advantage
  • Experience with computers would be an advantage
  • IT literacy an advantage

Nice to have:

  • Boat handling experience
  • Experience with computers
  • IT literacy

  • Operate forklift and overhead cranes per OSHA/NAVFAC standards

  • Operate and maintain underwater camera and video equipment
  • Operate and maintain the dive boat and associated support equipment
