Prior work history in catering, food preparation, food service, and customer service are preferred
Must be knowledgeable or able to learn current food health and safety regulations

Job Responsibility

Setting up dining and event areas as per the catering manager's instructions
Ensuring all tableware, place settings, serving pieces and decorate are cleaned and available before each catering event
Perform food preparation tasks, which may include washing, peeling, cutting produce, seasoning, slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads
Loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies on and off catering vehicles and carts
Accurately set up tabletop place settings including utensils, glasses, plates, etc
Appropriately cleaning and storing catering equipment including chafing dishes, tableware, and platters after each catering event
Be prepared to answer guests' catering-related questions during events and address concerns or requests
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed
