Job Description

Are you looking for a rewarding, short-term assignment supporting a busy tax season? We're seeking a skilled Temporary Tax Preparer to join our client’s team and assist with preparing and filing individual and business tax returns.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses
  • Review financial records for accuracy and compliance
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure timely filing
  • Assist with tax planning and answer client questions regarding returns
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Previous experience preparing tax returns (individual and/or business)
  • Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with tax software (such as QuickBooks, ProSeries, or similar)
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
