Job Description:

Seasonal KidStrong Coach (Summer 2026, May through August). KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident making friends, run the playground, and raise their hand high in the classroom. At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our private training centers focus on the brain, physical and character development. KidStrong is a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by our professional coaches.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with kids is non-negotiable
  • Prior Experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
  • Experience talking to and educating parents on our curriculum
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
  • CPR certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter that just gets a job done

Nice to have:

  • Athletic, coaching or teaching background
  • Experience coaching kids ages 15mo-11 years old
  • Pediatric OT/PT experience

  • Camp sizes of up to 20 children, ages ranging from 4 - 9
  • Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
  • Must be able to ensure camp both start and ends on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
  • Greet students as well as parent(s)/guardian(s) as they arrive to camp
  • Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading camp
  • Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
  • Keep an accurate record of attendance at all times
  • Ensure cleanliness of the center including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors - this includes taking out the trash, sweeping and mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mat at the end of a shift
  • Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, our company messaging system, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers
