Job Description:

We're hiring seasonal staff for 1–3 months to work within IKEA Food departments such as Kitchen, Commercial, and Bistro & Swedish Food Market. Duties include cooking, serving food, maintaining operations, and enhancing customer experience. Benefits include uniforms, discounts, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing meals and serving food in the restaurant kitchen
  • Handling restaurant hall operations, cashier duties, and dishwashing
  • Serving snacks at the Bistro and managing the Food Market

Requirements:

  • People interested in food and everyday life at home
  • Those who enjoy friendly and cheerful customer service

  • Availability on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work shifts between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM for 4–8 hours per shift

  • Maintains leadership in modeling cleanliness, readiness and food quality standards
  • Responsible for documentation and execution of food safety plans, daily checklists, food waste management, and stock rotation on a shift-by-shift basis
  • Support food service manager in the ordering and receiving of all stock items
  • Monitor food preparation and storage to ensure adherence to ServSafe training
  • Clean and maintain all kitchen appliances, equipment, and areas where food is served
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests about all areas of the dining experience which includes allergen information
