Job Description

This is a temporary part-time position that will begin in Summer 2022. The Seasonal Operations employee is responsible for performing building custodial/maintenance functions. Work ranges from light to moderately heavy at times in physical demand.

Job Responsibility

  • Performing building custodial/maintenance functions relating to proper cleaning and general upkeep of college owned buildings and grounds
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and comfortable educational and working environment by performing custodial/maintenance duties in College owned facilities

Requirements

  • Any combination of experience and graduation from high school or equivalent is preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid PA driver’s license

  • Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment
  • General cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility (Porter)
  • Confirming accuracy of product and working with colleagues to address discrepancies and damages (Receiving/Putaway/Returns)
  • Manually unloading trucks and palletizing products (Receiving/Putaway/Returns)
  • Matching item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, checking in returned product and tagging it appropriately (Returns)
