Job Description:

Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, spraying, and more – join us as a Grounds Maintenance Operative and you’ll be doing them all. As part of our team in Manchester, you will keep the Etihad Campus in wonderful condition for our client. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required
  • A full valid UK driving license is required
  • Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable

  • Monitor grain in storage and maintain condition with aeration or turning
  • Oversee the weighing and grading of grain before it is dumped
  • Perform all duties in a safe environmentally compliant manner
  • Ensure grain facilities are well maintained by adhering to a strict maintenance schedule
  • Repair and rebuild equipment
  • Clean and prepare storage facilities including grain bins and ground piles
  • Load trains when shipping grain to a customer facility (if at a rail loading facility)
  • Visually monitor grain and grain products for irregularities
