Job Description:

We are looking for 2 Seasonal Watering Operatives to support the Northampton team during the busy summer season. Covering the Northampton town centre and local areas, the Watering Operatives will be responsible for watering and maintaining numerous flower displays and hanging baskets, following watering guidelines, as well as other related duties as requested such as dead heading and weeding.

Requirements:

  • Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience is beneficial
  • A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Perform all duties in a safe environmentally compliant manner
  • Ensure grain facilities are well maintained by adhering to a strict maintenance schedule
  • Repair and rebuild equipment
  • Clean and prepare storage facilities including grain bins and ground piles
  • Load trains when shipping grain to a customer facility (if at a rail loading facility)
  • Visually monitor grain and grain products for irregularities
