Job Description:

Seasonal Gritter role from October to April. Joining a company delivering 'green services' including grounds management, landscaping, countryside/estates management, horticulture and arboriculture. Role may lead to other opportunities at the end of the winter season.

Job Responsibility:

  • Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper filled with rock salt to be distributed on the roads and pavements commercial sites, to prevent ice from forming
  • Gritting rounds and the number of sites to be visited may change depending on weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Full drivers licence
  • Ability to work flexibly, on a call out basis, including working nights at short notice
