Join us for the 2026 crushing season! As a seasonal employee at Wilmar Sugar and Renewables you'll play an important role in supporting Mill operations to run smoothly during the crushing period (May/June to December, weather permitting). Depending on the role there are various roster cycles and opportunities for advancement for those with the right qualifications and work experience. You have the potential to earn over $50,000* in just 22 weeks and may be eligible for remote area housing tax benefits. Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting Mill operations to run smoothly during the crushing period
  • General Mill Worker: cleaning, hosing and removing chokes from equipment
  • Weighbridge Operators: weighing cane and data entry
  • Operators: Monitors the Juice Circuit to ensure crushing of cane is efficient and productive
  • Control Chemist: Analyses various mill products to ensure quality and performance
  • Juice Chemist: Performs analysis for cane payment purposes
  • Loco Driver: Transports sugarcane from farms to factories
  • Loco Driver Assistant: Assist driver with services, assemble rakes of cane bins, inspections and tagging defective bins
  • Cane Rail Labourer: Maintains and repairs the rail network
