Job Description

This seasonal position will serve as the educator/programmer for Curt Gowdy’s Little House on the Park, a unique venue within Curt Gowdy State Park. The mission is to educate and inspire children to understand the importance of kindness in the world.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute programs that inspire children to learn and behave with kindness
  • Work with the park and Cheryl Gowdy & family to promote and facilitate kindness programming for children and families
  • Execute programming based on a planned schedule, along with flexibility as different groups come and go throughout the day

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be passionate about the mission and vision and be able to connect program attendees to that vision
  • Skill in educating children
  • Classroom management skills
  • Public speaking and general public interaction

Nice to have

Preference may be given to applicants who can work evenings, outdoors, and on a Friday through Sunday schedule
