Seasonal Bookkeeper (Temp-to-Hire Opportunity) for a growing team in NW Oklahoma City. Full-time, onsite opportunity with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Job Responsibility:
Perform bookkeeping data entry in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
Retrieve bank statements from online platforms
Request and organize source documentation from clients
Prepare journal entries, including loan payment allocations
Process payroll, quarterly payroll reports, and schedule payroll tax payments
Prepare and process sales tax reports
Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and gather needed information
Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
Experience processing payroll and filing payroll reports
Ability to schedule payroll tax payments
Comfortable downloading statements from various banking platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Self-motivated and able to manage daily tasks independently
Nice to have:
Experience with business and personal income tax preparation
Sales tax reporting
QuickBooks conversions and account setup
Payroll account setup and bank feed creation
