Minimum 3 years’ experience with diesel generators and site installations
Valid Mechanical Red Seal qualification
Strong ability to read electrical diagrams, single-line drawings, and instrumentation schematics
Familiarity with MV/LV/EHV transformers, switchgear, and protection relays
Experience with genset controllers (Deep Sea, ComAp, etc.), SCADA, PLC panels, and communication protocols

Install, configure, and commission diesel generators and associated equipment
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs
Provide technical support and training to clients and operations teams
Carry out field inspections and respond to after-hours service calls

Ensure compliance with all governing environmental regulatory statutes regarding storage and handling of lubricants. Oversee spill and leak prevention efforts at the mine
Perform oil sampling of critical quarry and plant equipment
Complete necessary paperwork to maintain inventory or procurement of lubricants, filters, spare parts and equipment
Perform minor maintenance on plant and Quarry equipment as needed. Install and maintain all grease lines and fittings. Make repairs as needed
Recommend changes in servicing intervals when seals are leaking or excessive wear is apparent, along with initiating a work order to make the necessary repairs
Operate maintenance and mobile equipment as necessary to perform servicing
Perform all work assigned in a neat and orderly manner, strictly adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations
