To continue to deliver, we’re now seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our Butchery and Seafood team at a busy, central city store! About the role As a Seafood Supervisor you’ll take pride in purchasing, preparing and presenting a wide range of Seafood products with care, skill and consistency. Key responsibilities: ·Purchasing a range of high quality, fresh Seafood products ·Preparing seafood products and maintaining high presentation standards ·Delivering excellent customer service, using your knowledge of seafood products ·Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment Hours This is a Full-Time role. New World Centre City operates between 07:30am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week. Our Butchery team operates between 04:00am – 8:30pm. The specific hours will be discussed at the interview stage and will include a weekend day. What we are looking for: ·Proven Food Preparation or knife handling experience, and/or a relevant qualification ·A strong work ethic and passion for the Fishmonger trade ·Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality ·Physically fit and ready for the demands of a busy store environment Desirable Qualifications / Certifications: ·NZ Food Hygiene Qualifications ·First Aid Certificate What’s in it for you?   • Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains.
