Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Seafood Manager to take charge of one of the store’s key fresh departments. If you love delivering a top-quality product, take pride in presentation, and enjoy leading a team, this is your chance to make the role your own and really make an impact. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be responsible for delivering a high-quality offer, maintaining excellent presentation, and leading your team to provide great customer service every day. This is a full-time position and includes one weekend shift.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, support, and develop the seafood team to deliver strong results
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the department to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain high standards of presentation so the department is set up and ready for a great start each day
  • Ensure fresh, high-quality products are consistently available and well presented
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and minimise wastage
  • Uphold food safety, health, and safety standards at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support the team to do the same

Requirements

  • Proven experience in seafood, supermarket, or fresh food leadership
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build a positive, high-performing team
  • Good understanding of stock management, ordering, and merchandising
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the department
  • Passion for fresh food and delivering a great customer experience
  • Food safety knowledge and experience
