As a Sea Freight Specialist at Aramex, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding sea freight inquiries. Your role is crucial in maintaining strong client relationships while delivering customized freight solutions to meet their specific needs. You will play a pivotal role in procuring competitive rates, managing shipments from start to finish, and supporting the sales team in securing new business opportunities in the sea transportation sector.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the day-to-day operational tasks for Export sea RFQ and Running shipments
Ensuring that all customers ‘freight arrives on time and inform customers in time manner as well
Liaising with overseas offices
Handling communication with shipping line and Booking agents
Monitoring shipments and keeping clients updated on progress/any delays
Liaising with Agents & shipping companies
Liaising with clients/carriers on arranging collections
Raising invoices to clients accurately and in a timely matter
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marine Transport or logistics filed is an advantage
1-2 years of experienced in ocean import freight forwarding
excellent knowledge of English in writing is a must
Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiar with FCL and LCL booking
Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Incoterms
Familiar with Updated customs & export procedures
Prepared to complete the entire job, from file creation to invoicing on time matter
