Job Description

This Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) is a technical role to assist with goTenna’s software, firmware, and hardware testing activities. Candidates should be able to work independently and hit the ground running, and have a demonstrated interest in technology and business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Independently create, implement, and execute automated test scripts
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the automation environment to include CI/CD workflows
  • Create test scripts and assist with execution of Python and JavaScript test scripts
  • Reporting and documenting bugs found during testing
  • Collaborate with the Development and Product Teams on a regular basis
  • Assist with manual and field testing as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Proficient with at least one current programming language, such as Python, Java or JavaScript
  • Experience with mobile app test automation (Android and iOS)
  • Proficient with different browsers and other related web-based technologies
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits knowledge of software development, lifecycles and Agile methodologies
  • Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Self-starter, ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • ITAR: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required
  • CLEARANCE ELIGIBILITY - This position may require eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
