Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a hybrid opportunity in Ottawa to support operational IT teams in a fast paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading multiple Scrum teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing work through JIRA, supporting backlogs and stakeholder communication, and coordinating incident and service request activities through ServiceNow. Candidates with a CSM or CSP certification, IT operations experience, and strong knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow will be highly valued.

Job Responsibility

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Manage and track tasks in JIRA to support delivery timelines
  • Support product backlogs, prioritization, and squad coordination
  • Communicate project updates and stakeholder requirements
  • Track and escalate issues through ServiceNow
  • Identify risks and support mitigation plans

Requirements

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master leading operational IT teams
  • Experience in IT operations environments (incidents, service requests, patching)
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules and reporting
