Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support and lead agile software delivery across high-performance engineering teams. You will play a central role in enabling autonomous teams to deliver complex software systems — from backend pipelines to mission-critical applications — while driving agile maturity and continuous improvement across the organization. At TEKEVER you will help shape how agile works in a software-heavy environment, ensuring teams are effective, outcomes are maximized, and delivery challenges are addressed proactively.

Job Responsibility

  • Facilitate Agile Delivery: Lead all core Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives), ensuring they are efficient, outcome-focused, and tailored to software delivery contexts
  • Support Execution Quality: Help the team maintain rhythm, focus, and flow of work, removing impediments that block progress — especially those tied to software-specific dependencies (integration, CI/CD, environment issues)
  • Coach for Continuous Improvement: Coach teams in agile and Scrum practices with an emphasis on delivering reliable software, reducing technical debt, and improving team-level delivery metrics
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Partner closely with Product Owners to maximize backlog value, balance technical constraints with product goals, and ensure software priorities are clear and actionable
  • Champion Agile Mindset: Promote agile values and behaviors across software teams, including self-organization, cross-functionality, transparency, and continuous learning
  • Drive Transparency and Data-Driven Decisions: Use agile tools and artifacts to ensure delivery transparency and help teams leverage delivery feedback loops and metrics to improve predictability and quality
  • Enable High-Performance Teams: Act as a servant leader and coach to help the team evolve into a high-performing unit, especially in areas like collaboration, engineering practices, and adaptive planning

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Scrum Master, ideally supporting software delivery in complex engineering environments
  • Technical Appreciation: Understanding of software engineering practices and delivery challenges (CI/CD, testing automation, integration points)
  • Agile Expertise: Strong grasp of Scrum and agile principles
  • ability to adapt practices to team needs
  • Coaching & Facilitation Skills: Able to coach teams, stakeholders and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Communication: Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Scaling Knowledge: Experience with scaling frameworks (e.g., Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, LeSS) is a plus
  • Tools: Hands-on with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
  • Language: Fluent in English
  • Portuguese proficiency is a strong plus
