Job Description:

Our well known health and wellbeing client is currently going through an exciting digital transformation and looking to recruit their first Scrum Master paying up to £67,900 with one day in the office and the other four days working from home.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teach, implement, and adhere to scrum values and rituals
  • Drive delivery within the digital team, allocated to up to two squads
  • Ensure each squad is working as an effective scrum unit
  • Monitor how the team is working and coach/support them to improve
  • Track and communicate the team’s velocity
  • Support the digital squads in becoming more T-shaped to improve their velocity further
  • Chair several agile rituals including sprint reviews/retrospectives

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable knowledge, skills, and experience in the Scrum master discipline
  • Proven delivery experience in a complex IT environment with a high volume of change
  • Evidence of being able to embed scrum values and practices in an organisation that has previously worked in waterfall
