Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team at Resource Informatics Group, Inc. The Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in driving Agile transformation and facilitating the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, along with proven experience in coaching and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile teams
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Empower and support the development team in self-organizing and making decisions, while removing any impediments or blockers
Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to prioritize and refine the product backlog
Monitor and track sprint progress, burndown charts, and velocity metrics
Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices
Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation, promoting the adoption of Agile engineering practices
Foster a safe and inclusive environment where team members feel empowered to raise concerns
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, and stakeholders to share knowledge
Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to Agile values, principles, and the Scrum framework

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification required
Minimum of [X] years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment
Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and the Scrum framework
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
Experience working with distributed or remote teams and managing dependencies across multiple teams and projects
Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software, such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps
Continuous learning mindset

Nice to have:

Master's degree preferred
Additional certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Agilist (SA) a plus
