Job Description

A Scrum Master facilitates Agile practices to help teams deliver value efficiently. They coach the team on Scrum principles, remove impediments, foster collaboration, and continuously improve processes to ensure smooth, predictable delivery and a high-performing team.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement tailored Agile approaches that fit team and product realities
  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies with intention, energy and focus on outcomes
  • Use data‑driven Agile metrics to drive transparency and improvement
  • Identify and remove impediments quickly to ensure steady delivery flow
  • Ensure Sprint deliverables consistently meet defined quality standards
  • Mentor Product Owners, Developers, QA, and stakeholders to reach their full Agile potential
  • Elevate Agile maturity through hands‑on coaching, feedback loops, and actionable improvement plans
  • Champion self‑organization and ownership within teams
  • Build Agile capability across the organization by supporting knowledge sharing and community initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine backlogs, define value and prioritize effectively
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment and expectation management across teams and stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and dependency management
  • Coordinate alignment for teams working within shared value streams
  • Facilitate cross-team events (Scrum of Scrums, joint planning sessions)

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in IT/product organizations
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
  • experience with scaling approaches (SAFe, LeSS) is a plus
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution capabilities
  • Experience leading multiple teams simultaneously (preferred for senior/lead roles)
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to influence without authority
  • Experience navigating organizational complexity and driving cross-team alignment
  • Hands-on experience with change management principles
  • Solid understanding of software delivery practices, CI/CD concepts, technical debt and release processes (no coding required)
  • Ability to partner effectively with engineering, product and delivery teams
  • Exceptional communication skills with distributed, international teams
  • Visual facilitation and mastery of collaborative tools
  • Proactive, solution‑focused, ownership-driven mindset
  • Passion for continuous improvement, learning, and team empowerment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, A‑CSM, or equivalent
  • Additional Agile-related training (ICP‑ACC, ATF, coaching certifications, ORSC, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with Delivery Managers / Project Managers to manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations without compromising team autonomy
