Job Description:

Ace Hardware is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Screen Repair Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and replacing window and door screens for customers, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with screen repair, basic hand tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a retail service environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Repair and replace window and door screens, including measuring, cutting, and installing screen material
  • Assess damaged screens and recommend appropriate repair solutions to customers
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for screen repair
  • Assist customers with service requests, providing friendly and professional support
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace in the repair area
  • Track repair orders and ensure timely completion of customer requests
  • Follow all store safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with other store duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience repairing window or door screens preferred
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair requests
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
