Job Description:

The Scouting Associate will visit different construction and project sites in the assigned area to collect basic project details such as site location, type of work, key contacts, and stage of construction. The information gathered will help the sales team reach potential customers and increase business opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Visit ongoing and upcoming construction sites daily within the assigned area
  • Collect project-related details such as site name, location, type of project, contractor, builder, and contact information
  • Identify new construction / Project sites and update records regularly
  • Maintain a daily report of site visits and submit it to the sales team
  • Build and maintain basic relations with site personnel for continuous updates
  • Ensure all information collected is accurate and complete

Requirements:

  • Any Graduate
  • 1 – 3 years of field experience preferably from the building materials industry such as paints, tiles, construction products, ... or similar segments
  • Should be smart, proactive, and confident in approaching people and asking for information
  • Must be able to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Strong observation and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and disciplined field worker
  • Regional language proficiency is preferred
