Job Description:

Hands-on Senior Data Engineer and Architect role to architect high performance Analytical Dashboard & Performance Metrics used by senior stakeholders across Banking and International franchise. Works within teams across B&I Data and subject matter experts to design, validate, develop, and deploy both MVP and ready-to-deploy solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Design, build and enhance high-performance, data-intensive solution from data acquisition to visualization
Building and enhancing existing data quality process to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of dashboard and reports
Determines appropriateness and guides revisions of presentation content for Governance forums
Monitor and improve reliability, performance, scalability of data services
Coordinate work within team or project group
Liaises with multiple Data teams/departments and serve as subject matter expert
Prework on governance agenda and highlight relevant dependencies and Risk

Requirements:

15 years of experience
Banking or Finance industry preferred
Great understanding business analysis, project management and solution design
Excellent understanding of SQL, Python, Tableau
Know how to read/write to database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Object Storage)
Familiar with ETL processes and Task/Job Schedulers
Experience in building and consuming APIs
Experience on DataOps, CI/CD, automation of ETL pipelines
Interest in designing data driven products
Good foundation and implementing Data Engineering key concepts with opensource libraries
Adaptable, creative, resourceful, well organized team player with a strong work ethics
Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred
