Job Description:

Senior Data Scientist and Architect to join our team, and architect high performance Analytical Dashboard & Performance Metrics used by senior stakeholders across our Banking and International franchise. This role will work within one or more teams across B&I Data and subject matter experts from Risk/Finance/Technology to design, validate, develop, and deploy both minimum viable products as well as ready to deploy solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Design, build and enhance high-performance, data-intensive solution from data acquisition to rendering, visualization, and distribution
Building and enhancing existing data quality process to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of various dashboard and reports
Lead versatile teams of junior data scientist, analyst, and engineers
Determines appropriateness and guides revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums
Coordinate work within team or project group
Liaise with multiple Data teams/departments and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
Prework on governance agenda and highlight relevant dependencies and Risk

Requirements:

11+ years of experience
Banking or Finance industry preferred
Great understanding business analysis, project management and solution design
Must have broad understanding of the business technology landscape
ability to design reports
strong analytical skills
Mandatory excellent understanding of SQL, Python, Tableau
Mandatory Know how to read/write to database systems
ability to work with various data formats
familiar with ETL processes and Task/Job Schedulers
ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Mandatory Knowledge in Java and its latest features
Mandatory experience working with web development frameworks and related libraries
good foundation and implementing Data Science key concepts with opensource libraries
Adaptable, creative, resourceful, well organized team player with a strong work ethics
Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Banking or Finance industry experience
master's degree
