Job Responsibility

  • Operate a scissor lift safely to assist with high-level shelf demerchandising and remerchandising
  • Assist skilled tradespeople with the removal and replacement of steel racking and structural components
  • Use basic hand and power tools to assemble or disassemble commercial shelving units
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site
  • Follow strict safety protocols regarding fall protection and elevated platform operation
  • Communicate effectively with the site supervisor to ensure project timelines are met
  • Perform general labour tasks such as moving materials and tidying the facility floor
  • Ensure all equipment is inspected and documented before use each shift

Requirements

  • Valid certification and proven experience as a Scissor Lift Operator
  • Proficiency in using basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills)
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift
  • Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for maneuvering in tight spaces
