Job Responsibility:
Operate a scissor lift safely to assist with high-level shelf demerchandising and remerchandising
Assist skilled tradespeople with the removal and replacement of steel racking and structural components
Use basic hand and power tools to assemble or disassemble commercial shelving units
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site
Follow strict safety protocols regarding fall protection and elevated platform operation
Communicate effectively with the site supervisor to ensure project timelines are met
Perform general labour tasks such as moving materials and tidying the facility floor
Ensure all equipment is inspected and documented before use each shift
Requirements:
Valid certification and proven experience as a Scissor Lift Operator
Proficiency in using basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills)
Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift
Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for maneuvering in tight spaces
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following complex instructions
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards
