Scientist Solid State Sciences and Characterization

• Provide input and perform experiments in view of solid form selection for several projects in our portfolio
• execute experimental plans set by the project/scientist lead related to solid-state form selection towards the formulation process
• ensure accurate documentation in electronic laboratory notebook
• maintain a library of stock salt solutions and solvents
• set up solid form screenings and investigations in the field of solid state according to established protocols
• ensure that the laboratory is kept tidy.

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or in Chemistry (analytical/organic), Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics, or related science
• 0-3 years of experience and good knowledge in at least one of the following areas, such as solid state screening and characterization techniques, solid form selection, crystallization development
• knowledge of using automated platforms or openness to learning how to use them in the context of solid form work
• experience in the use of a number of analytical techniques (i.e., thermal analysis, Infra red spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, DVS, Raman spectroscopy, optical microscopy)
• experience in solid form screening approaches and characterization thereof
• hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in the lab
• efficient, dynamic, flexible, result oriented and ability to act quickly.
