Drive the future of microfluidics‑powered discovery at the intersection of biology and engineering. Proclinical is seeking a motivated Scientist specializing in Microfluidics to join a dynamic team in NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in microfluidics and a passion for innovative research. The successful candidate will support the development and optimization of microfluidics-enabled antibody discovery workflows. The position involves hands-on work with microfluidic chips, cell biology assays, and ensuring workflow continuity.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute and optimize cell-based assays on microfluidic microwell and other commercial chips
  • Assist with microfluidic experiments, including encapsulation, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Perform routine biological assay execution, data collection, and ensure workflow stability and reproducibility
  • Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to protocol refinement
  • Document experiments, results, and findings in an electronic laboratory notebook
  • Contribute to the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and method protocols

Requirements

  • Background in cell biology, bioengineering, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with microfluidic chips (e.g., droplet, microwell, microchamber)
  • Proficiency in executing cell culture and cell biology-based assays
  • Familiarity with high-content imaging and data analysis
  • Basic scripting or coding experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, ImageJ) for system control and data processing
  • Experience working across biology-engineering interfaces
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to organize data into high-quality presentations, including graphs, figures, and tables
