We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Scientist II to support the research and development of monoclonal antibodies within our Antibody Technologies team. This role involves hands-on laboratory work, experimental design, and collaboration across multiple workstreams including antibody screening, tissue culture, and recombinant protein expression. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving scientific excellence, data integrity, and continuous process improvements.
Job Responsibility:
Design and execute complex experiments using multi-color flow cytometry
Analyze flow cytometry data using FlowJo and FCS Express
Perform antibody transfection and expression in cell lines
Conduct hybridoma tissue culture and maintenance of cell lines
Operate automated liquid handling and laboratory automation systems
Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Train and mentor junior scientists on lab techniques and processes
Independently analyze data and plan follow-up experiments
Manage scheduling, operational, and lab maintenance activities
Prepare and present experimental data at lab meetings
Maintain accurate documentation per SOPs and protocols
Requirements:
2- 4 years of hands-on laboratory experience
Strong experience with flow cytometry
Proven experience in tissue culture and aseptic techniques
Experience with antibody expression and transfection
Experience in regulated laboratory environments preferred
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Cellular Biology
Molecular Biology
Immunology
Cell Biology
Or related scientific discipline
Flow cytometry and tissue culture experience is mandatory
Nice to have:
