Job Description

Advance next‑generation antibody research at the intersection of immunology and gene therapy. Proclinical is seeking a motivated and innovative Scientist to join a team focused on antibody investigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in gene therapy and pharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and execute in vivo mouse immunization studies, including mouse handling, injections (subcutaneous, footpad, intraperitoneal, intravenous), and blood sampling
  • Perform ELISA-based assays to measure antibody responses
  • Conduct multi-color flow cytometry staining and analysis
  • Culture primary B cells and optimize strategies to elicit robust B cell responses in vivo
  • Characterize B cell development in genetically engineered mice and plasma cell responses
  • Present data in both small and large group settings
  • Maintain detailed records, including an up-to-date lab notebook.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant experience in cellular immunology research within academia or industry
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects effectively
  • Hands-on experience with vaccination, tissue isolation, blood sampling, multi-parameter flow cytometry, and ELISA
  • Knowledge of B-cell and plasma cell biology is advantageous
  • Experience in primary culture of B cells and plasma cells is a plus
  • Candidates with relevant technical expertise in adjacent fields are encouraged to apply.

  • generate diverse target cell lines including knock-outs, stable cell lines overexpressing one or more targets, and reporter cell lines
  • Perform the validation of cell line expression using flow and sequencing (Sanger or NGS) based methods
  • Generate bulk pool and single cell populations utilizing FACS to select for cell lines of various expression levels
  • Maintain an organized cell line inventory with all relevant documentation
  • Investigate target expression biology to recapitulate the most native conditions for expression
  • Work with end user stakeholders to confirm correct domain expression and associated sequences
  • In collaboration with end user stakeholders, establish the workflows, timelines and deliverables for cell line engineering from request to hand-off
