Job Responsibility:
Join our Translational Research department and contribute to translational strategies supporting VERAXA’s oncology pipeline
Execute routine and complex laboratory techniques, ligand-binding assays, and cell-based assays and analysis of primary human samples
Design and implement novel, non-routine assays required for the evaluation of VERAXA’s therapeutic candidates including complex primary cell culture assays, including flow cytometry–based readouts
Contribute to data collection and curation for internal antibody databases and PBPK modeling efforts
Support data collection related to disease indications and therapeutic strategies
Conduct biomarker research to support translational decision-making
Collect, process, and integrate data into internal translational research databases
Build in-depth knowledge of medical indications, target biology, and disease mechanisms relevant to VERAXA therapies
Review and summarize information from patents, scientific literature, and public clinical trial databases to support project progression
Present results in team meetings and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Completed Doctoral degree (PhD or MD) in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field
Strong background in cancer biology and cancer therapeutics, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in conducting in vitro cell-based assays
Solid knowledge of cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, microscopy, and ELISA-based assays
Experience in assay development
Strong interest in data collection and data mining, with willingness to work on projects focused on literature review and database searches to collect biological and medical information
Ability to independently plan experiments, perform calculations, and analyze scientific data
