Job Description

The role involves manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products while operating production equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring that raw materials are correctly weighed and measured, conducting in-process testing, validating processes, and managing waste disposal. The position also involves troubleshooting issues related to scientific operations and contributing to process improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products, and operate production equipment
  • Weigh, measure, and check raw materials to ensure proper ingredient quantities in batches
  • Assist with in-process testing to verify batch specifications
  • Validate processes and equipment associated with filtration, cleaning, and sterilization
  • Dispose of waste chemicals, solvents, and acids
  • Prepare solutions, powders, and liquids for batches
  • Provide training support for onboarding and new procedures
  • Support the lead or supervisor as needed
  • Recommend improvements for operational efficiency
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and BD housekeeping and safety policies
  • Work overtime as needed to meet business requirements

Requirements

  • High school with technical certification and 3 years of laboratory experience
  • Associate's degree in a scientific discipline with 2-3 years of laboratory experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 1-2 years of laboratory experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
