We are seeking a dynamic and organized Inside Sales & Business Development Coordinator to join our biopharma’s business unit. This is a highly strategic role in our sales team, offering a unique opportunity to combine scientific expertise and business acumen. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities in biotech and academia, qualifying both inbound and outbound leads, and assisting with business development activities, while supporting the company’s mission to drive ultimate predictability in preclinical research. He/she will also contribute to the preparation and execution of scientific events, seminars and conferences globally, ensuring the effective communication on genOway’s capabilities and its expertise in delivering solutions driven by science.
Job Responsibility:
Prospecting: Identify and engage new business opportunities using different sources (web, prospection platform, social media…) with a focus on understanding scientific needs and trends in the industry
Inbound Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads (e.g., conference/webinar/seminar participants, poster downloads) by assessing their scientific interest and needs through email, phone, and social media
Outbound Lead Qualification: Proactively reach out to potential leads
leveraging scientific interests via email, phone, or social media for qualification
Database Management: Manage multiple customer and product/service databases, ensuring accurate customer history and monitoring product performance
Targeted email campaign: Design and build scientific and sales campaigns for new product / services launch, tailored to meet the specific needs and challenges of scientific audiences
Scientific BD / Key Account Management: Support Scientific Business Development (BD) and Key Account Managers in customer relationship management
Reporting & Analysis: Analyze and present reports on Inside Sales activities providing insights into scientific market trends, lead progression, and product performance through dashboards and performance metrics
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Life Sciences with a strong component in Immunology (Immuno-oncology or Immuno-inflammation)
Experience with preclinical research, animal model services, or the life sciences industry is highly desirable
At least 1-2 years of sales and/or marketing experience within the Life Sciences and / or pre-clinical industry
Comfortable working with CRM and IT tools (e.g. FileMaker, HubSpot, MS Excel) to manage leads and track performance
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines
