We are looking for a Scientific Coordination Assistant to work in the PREV Unit of EFSA. Job Responsibility
Prepare the omnibus outcomes and contributions linked to the EFSA reorganisation on Biocontrol
Work on the simplification of the assessment process, including the drafting of a technical statement on lessons learnt
Participate actively in the drafting of the Guidance Document with the European Commission and Member States
Engage continuously in relevant OECD activities
Prepare, organise, and follow up on scientific workshops on new technologies to enhance and harmonise preparedness across Member States and the Commission
Support the management of the anticipated increase in workload related to confidentiality handling, in order to minimise the risk of errors and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Provide operational support to address legal and procedural implications linked to the handling of third-party confidential data, including the mitigation of potential downstream impacts on approval processes
Support the safeguarding of the robustness, consistency, and credibility of EFSA’s scientific outputs during this transitional phase
Requirements
Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Previous experience in safety and risk assessments
Previous experience in scientific and administrative support
Previous experience in data analysis and scientific literature research
