Job Description

Science Teaching Assistant role in a welcoming, modern Secondary School in Bexley, Kent. The position involves working across KS4-KS5, leading intervention groups, assisting in classrooms, and supporting pupils with SEN. After one academic year, there is opportunity to enroll on a Salaried Teacher Training course.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead small intervention groups (including GCSE and A Level)
  • Assist in the classroom with general TA duties
  • Support pupils with SEN in the classroom

Requirements

  • Science related degree
  • Good A Levels & GCSEs
  • Confident with knowledge and ability in specialist subject to lead and support pupils at GCSE and A Level
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with class teacher about pupil progress
