The Role The core focus of this position is to deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons. We have flexibility depending on your preference: roles that include full planning and preparation are paid strictly to your scale, while positions with zero planning or prep responsibilities are paid at a flat daily rate. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional progress and positive outcomes for all students aged 11-16 as they develop their scientific enquiry, practical skills, and core knowledge across the sciences. Possesses recent, demonstrable experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Exhibits excellent classroom management skills, with a strong awareness of laboratory safety protocols. Is passionate about Science and committed to raising student attainment. Demonstrates a strong understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for Science. Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
