Job Responsibility:
Plan and execute engaging lessons-including safe and exciting practical experiments-aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE Science specifications
Use formative assessment data to bridge attainment gaps and ensure no student falls behind their projected progress targets in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Maintain a focused, logical, and inclusive learning environment using the academy's proven, consistent behavior management strategies
Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the holistic well-being and academic mindset of your assigned cohort
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
BSc/MSc in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related STEM field
A proven history of teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
