Science Teacher | Ignite a Passion for Discovery (KS3 & KS4) Role: Temporary Science Teacher (Full-Time) Location: Tamworth & Surrounding Areas Salary: £140 - £233 Per Day Contract: Fixed Term Ready to be the catalyst for student success? We are seeking a curious mind, a practical enthusiast, and a high-impact educator to join our forward-thinking Science Department. Whether you're exploring the building blocks of life, mastering chemical reactions, or delving into the laws of physics, we want a Science Teacher who can spark a genuine 'Eureka!' moment in every lesson. This is a full-time, temporary role for a dedicated professional ready to take full ownership of KS3 and KS4 classes within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan & Deliver: Create high-quality, engaging Science lessons that raise attainment and foster scientific inquiry
  • Experiment: Manage and lead safe practical work that brings the curriculum to life
  • Engage: Act as a Form Tutor and contribute to the vibrant, investigative life of the school
  • Collaborate: Contribute to innovative Schemes of Work and share best practices for lab-based learning

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS and a degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Science)
  • proven track record of delivering the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4, including required practicals
  • possess classroom management skills to lead safe, exciting, and high-energy practical lessons
  • 100% committed to safeguarding and the health and safety of pupils in a lab environment
