Job Responsibility:
Lead lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, covering cellular biology, atomic structure, forces, energy, and chemical reactions
develop student's analytical skills and ability to investigate the world through the scientific method
facilitate engaging demonstrations and theory-based lessons
support examination cohorts with targeted preparation for GCSE and A-Level
maintain a disciplined and safe learning environment
differentiate complex concepts for students with SEND or EAL
Requirements:
Hold QTS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
ECTs are highly encouraged to apply
Science-related degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science)
solid grasp of the KS3/KS4 National Curriculum
engaging communicator
hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
