Job Responsibility:
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and execute engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE Science specifications
Practical Leadership: Manage and lead safe, investigative practical work that brings scientific theory to life
Data-Driven Progress: Use assessment data to bridge attainment gaps and foster scientific inquiry in every student
Pastoral Care: Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the holistic well being and academic mindset of your students
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree: BSc/MSc in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Science)
Experience: A proven history of teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
Compliance: Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a 100% commitment to safeguarding and lab safety
