Job Description:

We are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join us for the summer term. As a subject specialist, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a critical period as we support our Year 11 students through their final GCSE examinations and transition our younger cohorts into their next stage of learning.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that challenge and engage students of all abilities
Prepare students for GCSE examinations through targeted revision and rigorous assessment
Manage a safe and productive laboratory environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
Maintain our high standards of classroom engagement and behaviour management
Contribute to the wider school community and the department's shared goals

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Science Subject Specialist with a strong degree in a Science discipline
ability to teach across all three sciences at KS3/4
Classroom Engagement
Proven Behaviour Management
Enhanced DBS on the update service
