Job Description:

We have an urgent need for Science specialists in Secondary Schools all across Liverpool. Whether your passion is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, we have schools waiting to meet you right now! We want energetic Science Teachers who can spark curiosity and make complex theories easy to understand. We need educators who are ready to inspire the next generation of scientists across the city.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4
  • Setting up and supervising safe practical experiments in the lab
  • Explaining scientific concepts in simple, easy-to-understand ways
  • Marking student work and helping them track their progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a safe learning environment
  • Preparing Year 11 students for their GCSE Science exams

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related Science subject
  • Experience teaching the UK Secondary Science curriculum
  • A commitment to lab safety and student engagement
  • A valid DBS check (or the willingness to apply for a new one)
