Job Description:

We are looking for passionate Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to join vibrant secondary schools across Liverpool starting immediately after the break. Whether you're an ECT looking for a supportive start or an experienced Teacher looking for a change, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver clear and engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Set up and oversee safe practical experiments in the lab
  • Mark student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Follow departmental schemes of work and exam board specifications
  • Work closely with lab technicians to prepare resources for practicals
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Knowledge of subject and curriculum
