Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in Slough is looking for a Science Teacher / Science Early Career Teacher (ECT) for an ASAP, January, or April 2026 start. The position is permanent, full-time, and offers a range of benefits including support from the school’s leadership team, excellent working conditions, TLR opportunities, and opportunities for professional development through bespoke ECT induction and training programs. The role includes teaching Science from KS3 to KS5, motivating students, and contributing to the school’s high standards and Progress 8 success.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
Working alongside a team of fantastic Science Teachers
TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level
You must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
Must be willing to listen to feedback
